At the time, new maps costs more than a new GPS unit. Which is why I recently bought a Nuvi 780, to get new data. If I'm gonna pay all that for new data, I may as well get new equipment with it. I followed the tips above with MapSource and tried to swap out the old data with the new img file I obtained from my Nuvi 780.
